19 January 2017 at 10:30CET - Online

Free SolarPower Europe Webinar.

On 20th December the European Commission brought forward its recommendations on the trade case involving solar modules and cells imported to the European Union from China, Taiwan and Malaysia. Their recommendations include extending the duties and measures, including the Minimum Import Price (MIP), for 2 years and opening two interim reviews to modify the MIP and the administrative procedures over the coming year. These are the recommendations that will likely be sent to the European Union Member States for approval in February this year.

The webinar will include 30 minutes for Q&A with the audience.

This webinar will explain:

  • What has happened to date
  • The rationale of the European Commission for their recommendations
  • What is expected to happen next, and
  • The implications for businesses in the European Union of the proposed regulation.

Presented by:

  • Dr James Watson, CEO, SolarPowerEurope
