Join the SolarPower Europe Midsummer Celebration!

By Tina Stojanovic, Event Manager

Sun, ice cream, drinks, and a DJ - all on the longest day of the year, 21 June! Join our Solar Power Midsummer Celebration in Brussels.

The longest day of the year - 21 June - has been a celebration of the sun for millennia.

From Stonehenge to the Arctic Circle, people have gathered on this day to celebrate sunshine and daylight. In the 21st century we now have a whole new way to make the most of energy from the sun - solar power.

Join us to be part of our vision for a solar powered Europe - our vision for a Europe where solar is the core source of energy - and to hear what leading European policy-makers and visionary companies plan to do to turn this vision into reality.

This high-level event will celebrate the contribution of solar to the European low-carbon economy and specifically look at how the digitalisation of the electricity ecosystem can bring the cost of going solar down further and make it "accessible to all Europeans".
