RE-Source Platform

The RE-Source Platform is Europe’s leading forum for corporate renewable energy sourcing. Through its policy advocacy, wide-ranging and innovative Renewable Energy Buyers Toolkit and popular annual event for energy buyers and sellers, RE-Source seeks to remove barriers to renewable energy procurement faced by corporates, in support of Europe’s climate and energy goals.

The RE-Source Platform was founded in Brussels in June 2017 as an alliance of stakeholders representing clean energy buyers and suppliers. The Platform pools resources and coordinates activities to promote a better framework for corporate renewable energy sourcing at EU and national level. Run day-to-day by the four founding organisations, SolarPower Europe, WindEurope, Climate Group and WBSDC and steered by a committed group of corporate buyers and developers, the platform is designed to allow maximum cooperation and communication between renewable energy buyers and sellers, helping to realise the full potential of renewable electricity sourcing in Europe.
