SOLAR FLEX Prague

Prague, Czech Republic

Decarbonising the European Energy sector will only be possible by effectively integrating storage and flexibility sources into national and European plans and strategies. When facing challenges such as highly volatile and sometimes negative electricity prices or grid congestion, solar investors and developers around Europe are looking at was to hybridise their power sources and integrate them into the flexibility markets.

Czechia might be ahead of the curve in this regard with most new projects already conceived as PV+storage hybrids and the standalone BESS-market on the verge of a boom. With this in mind, the Czech Solar Association, the Czech Energy Storage Asociation AKU-BAT and Solar Power Europe are inviting you to attend the first international conference on PV+flexibility in Czechia SOLAR FLEX where we will be tackling the following questions:

  • What lessons can Europe learn from Czechia and vice versa?

  • How will European and national policies align to facilitate growth in the sector?

  • How can grids benefit from higher flexibility integration and how can hybrid projects be connected effectively?

  • What effect will flexibility have on corporate PPAs?

  • Is PV without storage feasible these days?

  • How to fully utilise the boom in residential battery systems in Czechia?

The event is aimed at:

  • International and national PV investors and developers

  • BESS solutions providers

  • Electricity merchants and aggregators

  • European and national policy leaders

  • Financing institutions

  • Technology manufacturers

  • and other PV+storage professionals
