2nd Solar Flex Croatia 2026 Conference
Croatia, Zagreb
The conference is jointly organised by Renewable Energy Sources of Croatia and SolarPower Europe.
As part of SolarPower Europe’s Let’s Flex campaign, the second edition of Solar Flex Croatia 2026 will be held on 17 March 2026 at the Sheraton Hotel in Zagreb. The event is jointly organised by Renewable Energy Sources of Croatia (OIEH) and SolarPower Europe as part of a series of Solar Flex conferences taking place across Europe throughout 2026.
This edition will focus on strengthening power system flexibility through the wider deployment of battery energy storage systems (BESS) and other flexibility solutions. These technologies are key to integrate a growing share of renewable energy safely and efficiently into the electricity grid.
The event also provides a platform for the exchange of knowledge, experience and best practices in the field of flexibility and energy storage, as well as for connecting with industry stakeholders and prospective business partners.
Taking place at a pivotal moment for the Croatian energy system, the conference will unveil Croatia’s first national study on battery energy storage systems, providing concrete insights into where batteries are most needed in the grid and at what scale. Alongside battery storage, the programme will address other solutions, including pumped hydro, hydrogen and biomethane, and their role in supporting system flexibility.
With more than 300 participants expected, Solar Flex Croatia will bring together senior representatives from industry, regulators, decision-makers, system operators and the financial sector. It is the place to exchange perspectives, understand regulatory developments and gain early insight into a market that is actively developing.
