Conference on Solar energy and Biodiversity (CSB 2026)
Paris, France
The Conference on Solar energy and Biodiversity (CSB) is an international event dedicated to the interactions between solar energy development and biodiversity.
As the first edition, CSB 2026 marks the launch of a newr ecurring international forum, held every two years. Building on the experience of similar initiatives such as the Conference on Wind energy and Wildlife impacts (CWW), it aims to bring together researchers, industry professionals, policymakers, and other stakeholders from all around the world. The main theme of the conference is Powering the Future through Science and Collaboration: Solar, Biodiversity, and Nature in the Energy Transition.
The CSB provides a forum to share knowledge, explore emerging challenges, and develop science-based solutions to better integrate biodiversity considerations into solar energy projects. By fostering dialogue between science, industry, and public stakeholders, CSB seeks to support the sustainable development of solar energy while contributing to biodiversity conservation. An international Scientific Advisory Committee (SAC) is built so as to support the organizing committee in ensuring the highest scientific quality of the conference.
