Ukraine & European Solar Markets Exchange

Online

In this webinar, taking place online on 9 June 2022 at 14:30-16:00 CEST, we will gather Ukrainian and European EPC experts to share and exchange on the current situation of solar in Ukraine.

As Ukraine continues to suffer from Russia’s invasion on all fronts, electricity supply is one of many major concerns. Versatile solar power could be a key solution to provide safe power supply today, enabling Ukrainian authorities to sustain communications, medical care, clean water resources and keep the lights on for Ukrainian citizens. Solar also offers the lowest-cost and a non-polluting path to rebuild the energy infrastructure of the Eastern European country, which in 2019, was one of our continent’s largest solar markets with well-trained developers, EPCs, and O&M providers.

This webinar will be the first in a series of events organised by SolarPower Europe and the Association of Solar Energy in Ukraine. We have invited solar developers and EPCs from and with experience in Ukraine to share their background on the current situation of solar in the country, discussing challenges and opportunities at a time when Ukrainian EPCs are also looking for installation jobs across the EU.
