SolarPower Europe and the European programme GET.invest have joined forces to realise broad and sustained market development of renewable energies in Africa, the Caribbean and the Pacific region.
The purpose of this free webinar is to discuss the implications of COVID-19 on the African solar market and the challenges and solutions for European companies ready to invest. Industry association representatives from South Africa, Mozambique, Nigeria and Kenya will share their views on the impact and effects of the virus outbreak and its likely aftermath. We will also hear about recommendations on how to cope with the crisis and present the GET.invest Finance Catalyst’s newly launched COVID-19 support, that advises advanced renewable energy projects and businesses impacted by the crisis. The Finance Catalyst is a service of GET.invest, a programme supported by the European Union, Germany, Sweden, the Netherlands, and Austria.
