Our latest EU Market Outlook includes a progress review of the achievement of the National Energy and Climate Plan (NECP) solar targets in all member states. It also includes a deep-dive analysis of those EU markets that are expected to install more than 1 GW in 2021. Moreover, for the first time, the report will present a mapping of solar manufacturing capacity across the European Union for different solar products along the value chain. A panel discussion will follow the report presentation, for which we have invited Michael Bloss, Member of the European Parliament, and Lukasz Kolinski, Head of Unit, Renewables and Energy System Integration Policy (Unit C.1) at DG ENER, to exchange ideas on what can be done to further accelerate solar deployment across the EU and to achieve the EU 2030 climate ambitions.
On Wednesday 15 December 2021, SolarPower Europe will launch its EU Market Outlook for Solar Power 2021-2025, with updated forecasts for the EU solar market in 2021 and further projections of the evolution of the market through 2025 under different scenarios.
