Get ready for European Solar Day: Sharing Solar Facts for All

27 May 2025

On 21 June, the longest and brightest day of the year, Europe will once again come together to celebrate the 3rd edition of European Solar Day. Coordinated by SolarPower Europe and with over 70 cross-sector partners already on board across Europe, this annual campaign invites everyone to join the solar movement, from citizens and communities to policymakers and businesses.

Building on last year’s Solar School success, this year’s theme, Solar Facts for All, focuses on answering the most common questions about solar in a simple, engaging, and fact-based way. How much does solar cost? Does it work in cloudy countries? Can it support local jobs and nature? European Solar Day gives you the tools to confidently share why solar matters – and how it is powering the energy transition across Europe.

In the lead up to European Solar Day, we will be sharing infographics, videos, and handy resources to help make solar more understandable to everyone. Whether you work in solar or are just curious about it, European Solar Day is your chance to learn more, get involved, and help spread the word.
