SolarPower Europe is pleased to welcome two new members to its Board of Directors in January 2026.
Katharina David, CEO of K2 Systems, and Julius Beutel, Vice President of the Business Unit Photovoltaic Solutions at Weidmüller, have joined the SolarPower Europe Board as Directors.
Welcoming the new Board Directors, Walburga Hemetsberger, CEO of SolarPower Europe, said:
“It’s a pleasure to welcome Katharina David from K2 Systems and Julius Beutel from Weidmüller to the Board. As leaders of two prominent European manufacturing companies, they play an essential role in building a resilient and secure Europe. We look forward to working together to deliver a solar-driven energy transition.”
The new Directors succeed outgoing Board members Thomas Rührlinger (Fronius) and Dr. Christian Westermeier (Wacker).
