SolarPower Europe announces the website launch of the TRUST-PV project. This project will develop O&M- and grid-friendly solar PV components and solutions in large portfolios of both distributed and utility-scale PV.
The TRUST-PV project tests and demonstrates innovations from the laboratory to the field. It will gather data from across the whole value chain to feed into an Artificial Intelligence decision support system platform, based on Industry 4.0 concepts. In this manner, TRUST-PV can achieve various objectives:
- To increase knowledge of the performance and establish cost-effective fault diagnostic models of medium-size commercial-residential systems.
- To allow higher solar PV penetration levels by enhancing the operational stability at the point of connection and ensure grid friendliness.
- To increase the sustainability of utility-scale and large commercial systems through progressive repowering interventions to reduce environmental impact and guarantee yield for an extended lifetime.
TRUST-PV is industrially driven, gathering 20 organisations from across the entire solar PV value chain.
