Meet the team: Gary Guisset
Gary is our Senior Events Officer, taking care, together with the events team, of all the big and small events, in person and online; everything from creating and planning, to executing these events!
Prior to joining SolarPower Europe, Gary worked as an event coordinator for AXA Belgium for 5 years. He holds a bachelor's degree in business management with a focus on Hotel Management. Gary is Belgian and speaks French, Dutch, English and some German too!
Easy, the team; the people who work here!
The atmosphere is very positive, and I get to work with a group of international, motivated young professionals. We are actively open about the challenges we face, and solutions we can come up with, and we truly celebrate our victories.
The mindset is there, and therefore you know why you're doing the work.
I would say the Rooftop Networking Event!
It was great to experience the way the whole team worked together to solve any pending issues we had. It is in these difficult and challenging moments that you see what people are made of, and what I saw was the resourcefulness, creative thinking and drive of our entire team. This event will always be remembered as "the one with the elevator". (inside-joke)
I would have to say solar developing even faster than expected!
