Using the sun in more ways than one: How solar can contribute to a sustainable European Agricultural policy

On the day of SolarPower Europe’s Agri-PV workstream launch, we will discuss the unique opportunities brought by the deployment of agricultural photovoltaic installations known as Agri-PV. Agri-PV refers to technical solutions that combine agricultural infrastructure and solar PV. These innovative technologies can optimise agricultural land use, provide new revenue streams for rural communities, and enable the adaptation of EU agriculture to help combat climate change.

Solar companies are already working with EU farmers to develop local, sustainable solutions, which enable the achievement of climate-friendly food and agricultural system – all powered by the sun! This webinar will bring light on this emerging market segment and explore how Agri-PV can best contribute to the clean energy transition in rural communities and contribute to the EU’s climate energy and agriculture policy objectives.
